Bio-Way Farm is the result of Chris Sermons’ desire to transform his father’s land from a hunting retreat to a small market farm. In the late 1990’s Chris began recognizing the lack of local produce available in the Greenville area, and with the help of his father Bill and stepmother Julia, sought to transform his father’s fields from food plots to row crops and perennials.

A new goal was thus born of feeding the human population rather than the deer population. Bio-Way Farm was officially established in 2004 and in keeping with Chris’ vision of sustainability became Certified Organic in 2006 and has remained since. Recent additions to the farm include a solar irrigation system as well as a 1,000 sq. foot greenhouse.

Always with the goal of sustainability in mind, we are excited for the opportunity to continue providing fresh organic produce to Greenville’s growing population.
